The Korean American Club of Leisure World Seal Beach
The Korean American Club (KAC) of Leisure World Seal Beach welcomes all new residents to join in and participate in our various activities. The purpose of the KAC is to promote active fellowship and inter-club activities with a mutual purpose.
The KAC was established in year 2000 with around 20 members, it has now grown to over 600. The club meets every other month starting in January of each year. Meetings are held at Club House 4 at 5:00 p.m except in July when we hold a picnic at Club House 1 picnic area. Live entertainment and a traditional BBQ are provided by the club. KAC’s final meeting of the year is the yearend New Year’s party at Club House 2 with dinner and entertainment.
The KAC includes many activity clubs, such as the Leisure World Korean American Chorale, Korean American Literature, Wood Carving, Chinese Brush Painting, Joy Walking & Jogging, Pole Exercise and the very popular Line Dance. Our members can find the activity that fits their physical and emotional needs and continue to enjoy their living at Leisure World.
All meetings of the general membership are on the 2nd Thursday of the month. Membership is $40.00 per year.
The KAC has an advisory Board and panel of officers with elections each year. The KAC is also a charter member of the Multicultural Council (MCC) of Leisure World. The officers of KAC invite all residents new and old to join this great club.
