Pickleball

Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in America with over 4.8 million participants nationwide.  It is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, ping-pong and badminton. Pickleball can be played inside or outside with a solid paddle and a hard plastic ball like a wiffle ball.   The court is one quarter of the size of a tennis court, and is very popular with senior citizens.

Here in Leisure World, we are fortunate to have four state of the art outdoor courts.  The  courts are situated in Mission Park behind Clubhouse 2 and open to Resident Members Only (no guests) between the hours of 8am and 8pm, with no need to reserve them.

A few rules before you use the courts:

  1. Sign in on the GRF waiver clip board every time you use the courts. This clip board is located on the patio table in front of Court 1.
  2. For safety reasons, you MUST wear either tennis, court or pickleball shoes. No running, jogging, walking shoes.
  3. Bring your own paddles and balls.
