The Controller (Finance) is responsible for preparing and reporting on the Golden Rain Foundation operating and capital budgets.  Under the contractual arrangement with the Mutual Corporations, this department assists the Mutual Corporations in preparing their operating budgets.

Purchasing Department – The maintenance of adequate materials and supplies needed for the day-to-day operations of all departments and the fulfillment of Service Repair Orders (SRO) is the prime responsibility of this department. It employs the appropriate procurement processes to ensure that we obtain the best quality materials at the most advantageous prices and terms.

For those Mutual Corporations that are organized as Stock Cooperatives, this department monitors the assessed values and property taxes for each of their units. The Controller is responsible for the operations and functions of the Finance Department and establishing and monitoring the internal controls over financial transactions.  The Controller reports to the Executive Director and consults with the Foundation Treasurer and the Finance Committee.
