Requesting a Work Order
The Service Maintenance Department’s hours of operation are 8:00am thru 4:30pm, Monday thru Friday. If you are in need of assistance, please contact the department during normal business hours.
To order a work order, please contact Service Maintenance and be prepared to provide the following information:
- Your Name / Mutual / Unit / Phone #
- The repairs / services needed
- Permission to enter the unit if you are unavailable
Some service calls are considered to be urgent in nature and are treated as same day priorities. Other calls, lesser in nature, will be handled within 5 to 10 business days. Non priority calls are assigned in the order received.
Because each Mutual has different operating procedures, you may be instructed by office stay to contact a Mutual director for your service request. These procedures are subject to change and do vary based on Mutual policies.
If immediate assistance is needed after hours, please contact the Security Department. A technician will be dispatched to your home based upon urgency. After hours requests made to Security should be considered urgent in nature. If not, please contact your Mutual director or wait until the following business day to contact Service Maintenance for information. You may also leave a message on the office phone if desired. Staff listens to these messages throughout each business day.
Each Mutual also posts a list of current directors in all laundry rooms. If you would like to speak with a director, please check your listings or contact Service Maintenance for the appropriate number listed for your parcel director.
Service Orders can only be requested by the shareholders, a Mutual director, GRF Building Inspectors/office support, or Security.
Please keep in mind that some charges may not be covered by your Mutual. Office staff, technicians, or Mutual directors can assist in the determination of charges.
