Pickleball

Nick Arico, ambassador of Torrance, USA Pickleball Association, will conduct a pickleball workshop for residents from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Aug. 7 in Clubhouse 1.

Arico will also work with people on common mistakes while volleying, foot faultsº and most importantly, moving up to the net.

Arico worked with LWers in a previous visit by making suggestions to improve their play.

The first player or team to reach 11 points wins the game. A player can only score points on his or her serve.
