Craft Rooms
Leisure World residents of all skill levels and experience are invited to express their creativity in the arts studios.
The Leisure World Art League and the Arts and Crafts Guild offer classes in acrylics, oil painting, watercolor, and portrait with live model art. North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE) art classes are also available. Contact the Library for a schedule.
- Easels are available.
- Users must bring their own supplies
- The room is open to all residents except when club classes are scheduled.
- A 55-inch TV with internet access is available to play YouTube tutorials and more.

The recently updated Ceramics Studio is outfitted with:
- 3 kilns, a slab roller, and extruder
- State-of-the-art exhaust system for the kilns and a room-size
- HEPA filter
- Large, flat screen TV with internet access for classes and tutorials
Two ceramics clubs, each with a different focus, provide supervisors for the room and facilitate classes. NOCE also conducts classes in the facility.
The room may only be in use when a volunteer supervisor is on duty, and all safety precautions must be followed.

This recently remodeled studio includes:
- Cutting saws, casting equipment, sanders, grinders, cabling machines, among others
- Two sit-down tables with magnifying lamps
- Counter for stand-up work such as glass cutting, etc.
- A hot zone workspace for silver soldering and metal casting
- Volunteer supervisors on duty
- A 55-inch TV with internet access to play YouTube lessons on applicable crafts
Authorized residents create cabochons, bracelets, earrings, bolo ties, clocks, and many other objects.

Needle Arts Studio
This recently remodeled studio offers the latest in sewing equipment, a quilting table, cabinets, pressing room and other accommodations for all kinds of fabric crafts.
- 3 large crafting tables
- 13 sewing machines
The Quilting Bees club meets on Wednesdays.

A state-of-the art woodshop has a wide range of equipment for all types of woodworking. In addition to machinery, hand tools are available. Woodshop supervisors are on-site to assist with safely learning and using all machines inside the shop.
The room may only be used when a volunteer supervisor is on duty, and all safety precautions must be followed. Users must bring their own supplies.
