Clubs & Organizations

LW is a community alive with activity, with over 160 clubs and organizations, plus a wide variety of sponsored activities and excursions. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, including faith-based, political, fraternal, service, well-being, sports, and hobby organizations and clubs.
Leisure World has it all:
  • Five convenient clubhouses with a total of 12 fully equipped kitchens, 19 meeting rooms and lounges with fireplaces. Popular movies, performances and sports events are streamed on theater-size screens in these large social spaces.
  • 2500-seat Amphitheater with a fully equipped stage for holiday and community performances, and special events, as well as the popular summer concert series featuring well-known professional entertainers.
  • 9-hole, 3-par golf course with putting greens.
  • Swimming pool and hot tub, complete with a pool attendant, shaded lounging areas, dressing rooms and showers.
  • Five woodworking and art studios for painting, ceramics, lapidary, and jewelry making, plus one well-equipped needle arts studio. Classes and workshops are offered by community experts and local community colleges.
  • Shuffleboard courts, table tennis, plus pool and snooker tables.
  • Weekend dances with live dance bands.

NOTE: New clubs wishing to apply cannot be a duplicate of an already existing club.
