Gates
The Main Gate on Seal Beach Boulevard at Golden Rain Road is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. During the day, residents are flagged through a dedicated lane. Visitors must check in through a separate lane. During late evening hours, all traffic enters through a single lane.
Authorized visitors can enter at any of Leisure World’s three gates: Main Gate, open 24 hours a day; St. Andrews Gate, open from 6:00am - 10:00pm, seven days a week; and the North Gate: open from 6:00am - 9:00am, seven days a week.
Access For Residents
- Valid RFID tags or Leisure World identification cards are required for access.
- Vehicles with an RFID tag entering the Main Gate will enter in the “RFID TAG ONLY” lane.
- Vehicles without an RFID tag will enter the “ALL OTHERS” lane.
Permanent Visitors
Up to four permanent guests, people who visit often, are allowed per unit. Visitors are not allowed to bring non-resident pets into the community.
- Residents can add or delete permanent visitors any time by calling Security at 562-594-4754, filling out a form at the Decal Office in Building 5 or using the Proptia portal, which is GRF’s guest management software system. For more information about Proptia, email info@lwsb.com and provide your name, address and current mailing address.
- Guests will receive a pass when entering—permanent visitors will remain on a resident’s list until that person revises the list.
- Every 90 days, a Security officer will check to ensure permanent visitors are still listed and issue a pass for another 90 days.
Temporary Visitors
- Temporary visitors, those who visit infrequently, can get passes allowing access from one to seven days.
- Register temporary visitors by calling Security at 562-594-4754 or using the Proptia portal. For more information about Proptia, email info@lwsb.com and provide your name, address and current mailing address.
GRF decals are no longer valid for entry. They are used by Mutuals to manage carport parking. Residents can obtain a free resident vehicle decal by visiting the Security Satellite Office in Building 5. To obtain a decal, residents must appear in person with their vehicle and present proof of:
- vehicle ownership through a current copy of DMV paperwork,
- current insurance for the vehicle, and
- a valid driver license. (Interim driver licenses are accepted; temporary driver licenses are not.)
Resident vehicle decals are issued for a maximum of two years based on the expiration of the resident’s driver license.
The Security Satellite Office, 1661C Golden Rain Road, is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm; and on Saturday from noon-4:00pm.
